4.2 Troubles Relating to Assets Recovery

1. Restoration process is performed using the database backup command, but error occurred during the operation of management console.
- After setting the policies, click [Update Immediately], "X items in X have been updated" will be displayed. However, no matter whether policy is updated or not, "0 items in X" is displayed, and "No Update" is displayed afterwards. Policy cannot be reported.
- Client (CT) cannot be moved. After client (CT) has been moved, click [Updating Configuration], "[LVSY-ERR003] This physical node information has not been found." will be displayed. Information after moving cannot be shown.

Cause

The restoration procedure is incorrect.


[Resolution]

The text modifier may be restored directly under the status of double quotes. Specify the text modifier to <No>. Refer to the section "5.1.2 How to Restore Data" in Systemwalker Desktop Keeper Installation Guide, use backup command to perform recovery transaction.


2. Error occurs after domain user starts Server Settings Tool and backup/Restoration Tool.

Error message

"[RSSY-ERR001] Administrator authority is required for using this program."

Cause

In V13.0.0, Server Settings Tool and backup/restoration tool can only be executed by local user with Administrators authority.


[Resolution 1]

Login with as user with Administrators authority in local group.

[Resolution 2]

Update to V13.2.0 version. User of the DomainAdmins group in V13.2.0 can also execute.
