2.14 Messages Starting with mpsetlogsend

This section explains messages starting with mpsetlogsend.

Those messages are output by audit log setup command(mpsetlogsend_omgr).

mpsetlogsend: INFO: 0001: Applied the send settings of the <NAME>.

[Description]

This message is displayed in the standard error output when the mpsetlogsend_omgr command terminates normally.

[Parameter]

NAME: Systemwalker Operation Manager audit log

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1001: Failed to apply the audit log settings.

[Description]

The audit log output settings were not entered correctly.

This message appears if the audit log output definition is not set correctly when the audit log setup command is executed.

[Corrective Measures]

The internal definition may be damaged because the audit log output settings were not performed correctly or a hardware fault occurred.

If this message appears when the mpsetlogsend_omgr command is executed, run the mpsetlogsend_omgr command again with the "-f" and "-k" options specified.

If the same message appears after the above measures have been taken, check the event log or syslog to see if a hardware problem has occurred.

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1002: An internal error occurred (Detail code: CODE)

[Description]

An internal conflict occurred within the mpsetlogsend_omgr command, and processing stopped.

[Parameter]

CODE: Displays the system error number

[Corrective Measures]

Refer to both the value of CODE and the system error information to identify the location of the problem. This kind of error usually stems from a system-related problem, such as a disk access problem, a full disk, or a process startup failure.

Check how resources such as disks and memory are being used and what processes are running, then delete any unnecessary files, stop any unnecessary processes and run the command again.

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1003: Unsupported command.

[Description]

The mpsetlogsend_omgr command cannot be used in the environment in which it was executed.

[Corrective Measures]

Check that Systemwalker Operation Manager is correctly installed.

Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.1.0 or later must be running if the -y or -n option is specified. Check that Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.1.0 or later is installed.

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1004: Invalid option.

[Description]

An incorrect option has been specified with the mpsetlogsend_omgr command.

[Corrective Measures]

Review the mpsetlogsend_omgr command options.

Specify the correct options and run the command again.

Note that if an incorrect command option is specified, a simple explanation of the command usage will be output to standard error output.

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1005: Unable to create the log directory.

[Description]

This message is output when the directory needed to store any of the audit log output files specified with the -f option of the mpsetlogsend_omgr command could not be created.

[Corrective Measures]

Check if the directory for storing audit log output files specified with the -f option of the mpsetlogsend_omgr command can be created.

Check if the access rights to a directory in a higher level than the directory to be created are preventing write operations from being performed.

mpsetlogsend: ERROR: 1006: Unauthorized to execute the command.

[Description]

The user does not have permission to run the mpsetlogsend_omgr command.

[Corrective Measures]

The mpsetlogsend_omgr command must be executed by a user belonging to the Administrators group or the superuser.
