Points to check
Has the queue, in which the job that was being executed before the system failure occurred, stopped?
Cause
If one of the following settings is configured, and the system stops because of a system failure or a power failure, a job that is being executed changes to Waiting status (queue stopped) the next time the system starts, and the job will not be executed until the queue is started.
An operation is performed in a state where the qinactive parameter has been specified in the initialization file.
Stop all queues when started in the recovery or (V11.0L10/11.0) , Stop all queues when starting the service is selected in the Options tab of the Define Operating Information window, which will be displayed when Operation information is clicked in the Systemwalker Operation Manager Environment Setup window.
Action method
After taking the required action, start the queue to resume the operation using one of the following operations:
Select the operation target queue in the View Queue Status/Operate window. Then, from the File menu, select Queue Operation >> Start (alternatively, click Queue Operation >> Start from the right-click pop-up menu).
Start the queue using the qstart command (in UNIX versions, the qstart command is under /usr/lib/mjes).
The settings described in "Cause" can be used to check the server or job status. Take the required action before resuming the operation. However, if this is not required, take one of the following actions:
Delete the qinactive parameter from the initialization file.
Clear Stop all queues when started in the recovery or (V11.0L10/11.0 or later) Stop all queues when starting the service, in the Options tab of the Define Operating Information window, which will be displayed when Operation information is clicked in the Systemwalker Operation Manager Environment Setup window.
