Applicable versions and levels

Action

Points to check

Was a file created by the customer stored in the Jobscheduler database directory?

Cause

The Jobscheduler daemon searches files in the database directory when obtaining the schedule information. If a file created by the customer is stored in the database directory, Jobscheduler may incorrectly assume that it created the file and perform an unexpected action.

Action method

Files created by the customer should not be stored in the database directory.

Description

The database directory is stored in the following directories:

[When multi-subsystem operations are not used]

Solaris:

/var/opt/FJSVJOBSC

Linux:

/var/opt/FJSVJOBSC

HP-UX:

/opt/FHPJOBSCH/db

AIX:

/usr/FAIXJOBSC/db

DS versions:

/var/opt/uxpJOBSCH

[When multi-subsystem operations are used]

Solaris:

/var/opt/FJSVJOBSC/JOBDBn

Linux:

/var/opt/FJSVJOBSC/JOBDBn

HP-UX:

/opt/FHPJOBSCH/db/JOBDBn

AIX:

/usr/FAIXJOBSC/db/JOBDBn

In the above "jobdbn" and "JOBDBn", "n" corresponds to each subsystem number (1 to 9).
