4.1.15 A Job Net in the Group Started on an Unscheduled Day

Applicable versions and levels

Action

Points to check

Is a group running with a scheduled start of the previous day or earlier, and was a message event that was waited for by a job net in the group generated?

Cause

If a message event that was waited for by a job net in the group has not been generated, the job net in the group will continue to wait for that message event to be generated. If the group has not ended even when the day change time arrives, the new start will not be scheduled, and the schedule of the previous day will be carried over. If a message event that was waited for arrives after the day change time was exceeded, the job net in the group will start on a different day to the startup day or unscheduled day.

Action method

Check the settings for the message events that the job net in the group is waiting for to ensure that they are generated on the job net startup day.

If this type of problem occurs, performing the disable operation will cause the current scheduled start to be skipped, and a new start to be scheduled based on the date at that point.

Description

In the following example, the scheduled start time is 9:00 and the group waits for a message event to be generated.

If the disable operation is performed between 9:00 on Apr 1 and 0:00 on Apr 2, the scheduled start time of the group will be Apr 2.

If the disable operation is performed between 0:00 on Apr 2 and 9:00 on Apr 2, the scheduled start time of the group will be 9:00 on Apr 2.

In these cases, the group will be started when a message event is generated on or after 9:00 on Apr 2. If the disable operation is performed between 09:00 on Apr 2 and 9:00 on Apr 3, the group will be started when a message event is generated on or after 9:00 on Apr 3.

After the disable operation is performed, the enable operation is required.
