Action
Points to check
Is Apply once.(Restart the service.) or Apply once.(Restart the daemon.) selected in the Apply Policy window during application of policies?
Cause
Systemwalker Operation Manager stops and failover occurs automatically due to Apply once (Restart the service.) or Apply once (Restart the daemon.) being selected in the Apply Policy window during application of policies.
Action method
If performing cluster operation, select Apply at the next service startup or Apply at the next daemon startup in the Apply Policy window. After policy distribution, restart the Systemwalker Operation Manager service or daemon when applying policies.
Stopping a service or daemon
After Systemwalker Operation Manager services and daemons register with the cluster system are stopped, the non-registered ones must be stopped by executing the poperationmgr command.
Starting a service or daemon
After Systemwalker Operation Manager services and daemons not registered with the cluster system are started by executing the soperationmgr command, the registered ones must be started.
Refer to "Starting and Stopping Services on Cluster Systems" or "Starting and Stopping Daemons on Cluster Systems" in the Cluster Setup Guide for information on how to restart a service or daemon.
