To automatically start different services and applications on different days when the operating system starts, determine the startup schedules for services and applications.
Services and applications will be started according to the startup schedules that are set up. (For UNIX, only applications will be started.)
Items to be considered
The following definition patterns can be created:
Standard schedules
Holiday schedules
User-specific schedules (up to seven schedules)
Determine which services and applications to start, the order in which they should start, and which calendar to apply.
When the server stops, services and applications must be stopped in the reverse order compared to the order in which they were started.
Refer to "Scheduling Services and Applications" in the Systemwalker Operation Manager User Guide for details on the startup schedules for services and applications.
