Determine how to conduct delayed monitoring for jobs and job nets.
In either case, in the default specification of the startup parameters for the Jobscheduler, messages are output to the event log or the syslog when jobs or job nets are delayed.
Items to be considered
If a job net does not start even though its scheduled start time has been reached, a notification message can be output to the event log or the syslog. Additionally, the status of the job net can be verified as "Start delayed" in the Gantt chart. Job nets are subject to scheduled start time monitoring in the following situations:
If Scheduled start time has been defined for a job net under Start only when message event has occurred in the Standard information tab of the Job Net Properties window but the scheduled start time has passed before the message event occurs
When a job net is waiting for an execution time and message event occurrence linked with a logical AND condition (Wait for startup time has been specified in the message conditions), but the message event that the job net is waiting for does not occur by the scheduled start time

If a job net does not end even though its scheduled end time has been reached, a notification message can be output to the event log or the syslog. If a job net is still executing even though the estimated end time has elapsed, the Gantt chart can be used to verify its status as "End delayed".
There are two ways of specifying the estimated end time:
Absolute time
Relative time (relative to the time when a job net starts)
The relative time is calculated from the time specified for the estimated processing time for a job net.
Specify either of these settings in the Standard information tab in the Job Net Properties window.

If the estimated processing time for a job is being monitored (time from when the job starts until it ends) and the job has still not ended even though the estimated processing time has elapsed, a notification message can be output to the event log or the syslog.
Specify this setting in the Detail information sheet of the Add/Change - Job window.
