3.3 Changing the PL/extJava Environment

Perform the following steps to change the PL/extJava environment:

1. Stop the cluster application on all nodes.

2. On the active node or the standby node, mount the file systems on which the domain root and the PL/extJava backup data storage destination directory have been placed, and all file systems on which the resources of the database cluster (such as the data storage destination directory), have been placed.

   Refer to "2.3.6 Mounting the File System" for details.

3. Change the PL/extJava environment.

   Refer to "2.3.10 Configuring the PL/extJava Environment Settings" for details.

4. Unmount all file systems that were mounted on the active node or the standby node.

   Refer to "2.3.11 Unmounting the File System" for details.

5. Restart the cluster application on all nodes.
