PowerReplicationは、Windows Server 2008、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2012およびWindows Server 2012 R2の役割（Role）および機能（Feature）を追加せずに動作できます。
Windows Server 2003(x64)、Windows Server 2008(x64)、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2012およびWindows Server 2012 R2では、WOW64(Windows 32-bit On Windows 64-bit)サブシステム上で動作します。
Windows Server 2008、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2012およびWindows Server 2012 R2のServer Coreにインストールできません。
Active Directoryに参加しているシステムでは、PowerReplicationはActive Directoryの以下の機能に対応できません。
シングルサインオン未対応
ドメインにログインしていても、PowerReplicationのレプリケーションマネージャおよび構成定義の移出入機能を使用するときには、別途ログインが必要です。
アカウントポリシー適用不可
レプリケーションの同期を実行させるためのユーザには、アカウントポリシー（パスワードの有効期限）を設定して運用できません。
IPセキュリティポリシー適用不可
PRIMERGY 6000と連携する場合、IPセキュリティポリシーを適用して運用できません。
複数のドメイン間で連携不可
Active Directoryで構築した異なるドメイン間で連携して運用できません。Active Directoryに参加しているシステムでは、PowerReplicationの環境を構築することはできません。
Windowsのクラスタサービスおよび「SafeCLUSTER」を導入したシステムでは、PowerReplicationの環境を構築することはできません。
「PowerReplication V4.0」は、以下の製品と同じシステムに混在してインストールできません。

PowerReplicationは、Unicodeのデータベースを扱うことができます。
OracleについてはUTF8、UTF16についてサポートしています。
SQL ServerについてはUCS2についてサポートしています。
Windows Server 2003(x64)、Windows Server 2008(x64)、Windows Server 2008 R2、またはWindows Server 2012で「Oracle Database 10g Release 2」以降を使用する場合、Oracle Database Client（ODBCドライバ）は、32bit版を使用してください。
Windows Server 2003(x64)、Windows Server 2008(x64)、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2012 またはWindows Server 2012 R2で環境を構築する場合、DBMS製品はx64版を使用してください。
以下のDBMSの機能を使用するシステムでは、同期方式に「差分方式」は適用できません。
