A sample script for executing a series of backup procedures are provided to simplify automation of inter-box backup of NAS volume. The procedure for automation of backup using a sample script is as follows:

Perfom backup of the NAS volume using acnas backup command in the operation side.
Wait for completion of the physical copy of NAS volume backup using acopc query command.
Start REC from NAS backup volume in the operation side to the volume for REC in the stand-by/backup side using acec start command.
Wait for REC equivalency using acec query command.
Suspend REC using acec suspend command.
Start QuickOPC from the volume for REC to the backup volume in the stand-by/backup side using acopc start command.
Wait for completion of the physical copy of QuickOPC using acopc query command.
Resume REC using acec resume command.
Information
This sample script checks REC copy session at the time of REC start (3), and starts an initial copy in the case of no copy session. Performance of NAS volume backup using acnas backup command, confirmation of physical copy completion, and REC start in advance are recommended to shorten the backup processing time.
