The procedure to set an authentication server is as follows:
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click NAS Management.
The items of the Category pane change into the items concerning the NAS Management.
On the Category pane, click Environment Setting.
The NAS environment setting information is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Action pane, click Set Authentication Server under Environment Setting.
The Setting Authentication Server page is displayed.

Domain Name | This is a name of the domain in which it participates. The input condition is as follows:

Domain Administrator | This is an administrator name of the domain in which it participates. The input condition is as follows:

Domain Administrator's Password | This is an administrator's password of the domain in which it participates. When you set or change the domain administrator, specification is required. The input condition is as follows:

Authentication Server | This is an IP address or FQDN of the authentication server. If the authentication server is made redundant, three servers can be registered in the maximum. When two or more servers are registered, it is accessed in order of Authentication Server (1), Authentication Server (2), and Authentication Server (3). The input condition is as follows:

The IPv6 address can be input in abbreviated notation. Refer to "Configuration" of "3.5.11 Note for IPv6" for details.
In the setting of the authentication server, Active Directory and LDAP can be specified respectively. Specify them in the following cases.
Active Directory: The case of authenticating the access to the shared folder that uses the CIFS protocol
LDAP: The case of authenticating the access to the shared folder that uses the NFS protocol
Enter the necessary information, and then click Set.
Point
To delete the authentication server configuration, click Set after deleting all of values for domain information and authentication server information.
