When the Backup Wizard for Exchange Server is used, it is necessary to restart the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent service and Storage Cruiser's agent service with each agent installed.
Each agent service will start/stop automatically when the system starts/stops. For this reason, normally there is no need to start/stop these services manually.
The ETERNUS SF Manager service must be started. However, this service starts automatically. For this reason, there is no need to start/stop this service manually. (It is not necessary to restart.)
The method used to start and stop each service manually is as follows:
ETERNUS SF Manager
How to start the service
For Windows environment
Execute the "$INS_DIR\Common\bin\Start_ESFservice.bat" file.
($INS_DIR is the "Program Directory" that was specified when ETERNUS SF Manager was installed.)
For Solaris or Linux environment
Execute the "/opt/FJSVesfcm/bin/startesf.sh" file.
How to stop the service
For Windows environment
Execute the "$INS_DIR\Common\bin\Stop_ESFservice.bat" file.
($INS_DIR is the "Program Directory" that was specified when ETERNUS SF Manager was installed.)
For Solaris or Linux environment
Execute the "/opt/FJSVesfcm/bin/stopesf.sh" file.
