This section explains how to install Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, or AIX version AdvancedCopy Manager's agent in a clustered system.
Install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent in all nodes with the same environment (refer to "2.5 Environment construction for cluster operation" and the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide for details).
In N:1 standby, installation to the secondary node may already be completed. In this case, install a primary node in the same environment as a secondary node.
Note
Do not install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent on a shared disk.
The port number for the communication daemon (service name: stgxfws) to be set up on the Managed Server is for communication daemon for local transactions.
Refer to "Chapter 8 Customization of Managed Server Transactions" for setting of the port number of the communication daemon for cluster transactions, and then perform the procedure corresponding to the used clustered system.
