10.1.1 Before uninstallation

Perform the tasks described below to stop the service/daemon of the Storage Cruiser's agent to be uninstalled.

For Windows environment

Open the Services screen.
- For Windows Server 2012
  Click Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.
- For Windows environment other than above
  Click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Select "ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Agent" and then click Stop.

For Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, VMware, or AIX environment

Execute the following command to stop the daemon:
```
# /opt/FJSVssage/bin/pstorageagt
```
Execute the following command to confirm that the daemon has stopped:
- For Solaris, HP-UX, or AIX environment:
```
# /usr/bin/ps -ef | grep FJSVssage
```
- For Linux or VMware environment:
```
# /bin/ps -ef | grep FJSVssage
```
If the daemon has not stopped, execute the following command to stop the daemon forcibly:
```
# /usr/bin/kill -9 <Process ID of daemon>
```
