This section explains how to edit an L-Server template.
The methods of editing L-Server templates are as follows:
Editing Using a Wizard-style GUI

Manual Editing
Perform the following procedure:
Export an L-Server Template
Export an L-Server Template.
For details on how to export L-Server templates, refer to "8.2.1 Exporting a Template".
Edit the L-Server Template Using an Editor
Edit the L-Server template created in 1. using the editor.
For details on the XML definition of L-Server templates, refer to "2.2 L-Server Templates" in the "Reference Guide (Resource Management) CE".
Import the L-Server Template
Import the L-Server Template.
For details on how to import L-Server templates, refer to "8.2.3 Importing a Template".
If a template is imported without editing the L-Server template name of the L-Server template file which was exported in 2, the content of the existing L-Server template will be overwritten.
If a template is imported after changing the L-Server template name of the L-Server template file which was exported in 2, a new L-Server template will be added, leaving the content of the existing template intact.
Note
When creating a virtual L-Server, the values in the VM specific information definition file are used even if those values have not been set in the L-Server template.
If there are discrepancies between the L-Server template and VM specific information definition file (e.g. CPU performance is lower than CPU Reserve), L-Server creation will fail.
