This section explains how to operate an L-Server template.
An L-Server template comprises pre-defined specifications (number of CPUs, memory capacity, disk capacity, number of NICs, etc.) for an L-Server. Use the following XML format.
There are two ways to create an L-Server template:
Creation Using the Wizard GUI
L-Server templates can be created using the wizard GUI. For details, refer to "8.1.2 Creating a Template".
Creation Using an Editor
L-Server templates can be created using an editor.
The L-Server template XML definitions differ depending on whether the server is a physical L-Server or virtual L-Server.
For XML definitions of physical L-Server templates, refer to "2.2.1 Physical L-Server Templates" of the "Reference Guide (Resource Management) CE".
For XML definitions of virtual L-Server templates, refer to "2.2.2 Virtual L-Server Templates" of the "Reference Guide (Resource Management) CE".
Use the UTF-8 character code for L-Server templates.
