Upgrade from an older version ROR to ROR CE
Perform the upgrade in the following order:
Upgrade the manager
Upgrade the agents
Upgrade the clients and HBA address rename setup service
Upgrade can be performed using upgrade installation.
Upgrade installation uses the Resource Orchestrator installer to automatically upgrade previous versions to the current version.
Upgrade from ROR VE to ROR CE
The manager, agent, client, and HBA address rename setup service must be upgraded for upgrading from ROR VE to ROR CE. In addition, Cloud Edition licenses are required for each agent used.
For license registration, refer to "License Setup" in "7.1 Login" of the "Setup Guide CE".
Note
When using Virtual Edition, if SPARC Enterprise series servers are registered as managed servers, upgrade to Cloud Edition is not possible.
