10.1.3 Uninstallation procedure of Storage Cruiser's agent (for Solaris)

The uninstallation procedure of Storage Cruiser's agent (for Solaris) is performed as follows:

  1. Log in to uninstall Storage Cruiser's agent. Perform the operation with "root (super user)" after login.

  2. Execute the following command:

    # pkgrm FJSVssage

    Note

If you are planning to install Storage Cruiser's agent again in a different directory after executing the pkgrm command, make sure that no FJSVssage package directories remain. For information on the FJSVssage package directory, refer to "2.3.3.1 Required disk space for installation".

If the FJSVssage package directory contains any user-specific files, the uninstallation process cannot delete these files; due to this, executing the pkgrm command will also not delete the FJSVssage package directory. In such a case, delete the directory manually.

  3. Delete the sscruisera line from the /etc/services file.

  4. Reboot the system.

    # /usr/sbin/shutdown -y -g0 -i6

The uninstallation of Storage Cruiser's agent (for Solaris) is completed.
