Systemwalker Runbook Automation uses the communication paths described in this chapter after it is installed. When Systemwalker Runbook Automation is installed or configured, entries are added to the following "services" file for the TCP/UDP ports in the "9.1 Port Numbers" table shown in the "Service name" column.

Each port number must be unique within the network. If a port number, refer to "9.1 Port Numbers", is already in use by another application, the following actions must be taken:
If the port number can be changed
Change the port number using the procedure described in "9.2 How to Change Port Numbers".
If the port number cannot be changed
Change the port number used by the other application to a port number that does not conflict with Systemwalker Runbook Automation.
