8.6.3 Changing the Password for Process Control User/Schedule Startup

This section describes how to change the password for the user that Systemwalker Runbook Automation uses to control processes internally and the user that is required to start a schedule.

This section assumes that each user ID is the following:

User ID for process control

swrbaadmin

User ID for schedule startup

swrbasch

Refer to Registering Users, Groups, and Organizational Units with the LDAP Directory" for information on how to create users.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Stop Systemwalker Runbook Automation.

  2. Change the LDAP information.

  3. Change the environment for Systemwalker Runbook Automation.

  4. Start Systemwalker Runbook Automation.


Stopping Systemwalker Runbook Automation

Refer to "4.1.2 Stopping Systemwalker Runbook Automation" for details on how to stop the Management Server.

Changing the LDAP information

Refer to the manuals for the LDAP directory being used.

Changing the environment for Systemwalker Runbook Automation

Follow the steps below to register the password:

  1. Issue the command below:

    Note that, since an enquiry window will be displayed when the user is changed, specify the user type to be changed ("process control user" or "schedule startup user") then register the password.

    [Windows]

    <Systemwalker Runbook Automation installation directory>\bin\swrba_regist_password

    [Linux]

    /opt/FJSVswrbam/bin/swrba_regist_password

    Refer to the Systemwalker Runbook Automation Reference Guide for details on the command.

At the dialog box, specify the User for Controlling Processes and register the password.

Starting Systemwalker Runbook Automation

Refer to "4.1.1 Starting Systemwalker Runbook Automation" for details on how to start the Management Server.
