Systemwalker Runbook Automation provides Systemwalker Runbook Automation Studio (hereafter referred to as "Studio") as an environment for using a GUI to develop Automated Operation Processes, which define the procedures for automating operation tasks.
Developers use Studio to create, edit, debug and manage Automated Operation Processes.
The following methods can be used to develop Automated Operation Processes.
Using an Automated Operation Process template
Standard templates are provided by Studio Note that additional templates may be provided from time to time. Contact Fujitsu technical support to obtain such templates.
Automated Operation Processes can be created by customizing the templates provided.
Creating new Automated Operation Processes based on an existing one
If there are Automated Operation Processes already operating, new ones can be created by changing the existing ones.
Creating new Automated Operation Processes from scratch
If it is not possible to create the required Automated Operation Process based on a template or an existing one, then create a new one from scratch.
Note that further steps are required to actually use the Automated Operation Process once it has been created - it must be exported to and registered on the Management Server and then published. The registration and publication tasks are performed by either an administrator or a developer.
