The procedure to add an access path to ETERNUS Disk storage system is as follows:
On the global navigation tab, click [Server].
On the Server pane, click [Access Path].
The connection information for a server and storage devices is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, check the target storage device checkbox.
On the Action pane, click [Add (ETERNUS)] under the [Access Path].
Click the target server radio button on the [Select Server].
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and click the [Next] button.
Click the target storage device radio button on the [Select Storage].
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and click the [Next] button.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and click the [Add] button.
Click the [Next] button.
Confirm the information, and click the [Add] button on the lower right.
Note
Even if this operation is interrupted, the new Affinity/LUN group created during this operation is not deleted.
To delete the new Affinity/LUN group created during this operation, perform the operation "4.14.14 Delete the Affinity/LUN group".
Information
If you create a new Affinity/LUN group, you can check by the [Assigned] column of the volume list whether the selected volume is assigned to other Affinity/LUN group.
