B.3 GLS Operation on the Host OS

By duplicating a physical adapter on the host OS and connecting it to the Hyper-V virtual network, networks of guest OSes are duplicated.

The GLS virtual adapter created on the host OS can communicate in the configuration where the virtual LAN ID is added to the network adapter on a guest OS to transfer packets with a tag to guest OSes. Moreover, the ping monitor function can be used by setting an IP address to a network adapter which is allowed to be shared on the host OS.
