The following section describes how to uninstall the Log Analyzer Server of Systemwalker Desktop Keeper.
Delete Log Transmission Schedule
In “Schedule Log Transmission“ of the “Systemwalker Desktop Keeper User’s Guide: for Administrators”, to regularly execute the transmission data (TRANS.bat) of Log Analyzer Server to be uninstalled, or the data transfer (DTTOOL.EXE) on the Log Analyzer Server to be uninstalled, the relevant schedule should be deleted when it has been registered in the scheduled task of OS.
Delete Log Analyzer Server information on Management Server/Master Management Server
On Management Server/Master Management Server registered with the Log Analyzer Server to be uninstalled, use the Log Analyzer Server information registration command (RegisterLAInfo.exe) to delete relevant Log Analyzer Server information.
The deletion procedure varies depending on whether all or part of the registered Log Analyzer Server will be deleted.
Delete all registered Log Analyzer Server
Log on to Windows with the user used at the construction of database of Management Server/Master Management Server.
Execute the following command in the command prompt to access to the folder in which the tool is stored.
cd "[Systemwalker Desktop Keeper Installation Folder]\LogAnalyzer\TRANS"
Execute the following command to delete all Log Analyzer Server information.
RegisterLAInfo.exe -d
Delete part of registered Log Analyzer Server
Log on to Windows with the user used at the construction of database of Management Server/Master Management Server.
Execute the following command in the command prompt to access to the folder in which the tool is stored.
cd "[Systemwalker Desktop Keeper Installation Folder]\LogAnalyzer\TRANS"
Execute the following command to output Log Analyzer Server information.
[Example when the output file path is “C:\work\lasvinfo.csv”]
RegisterLAInfo.exe -e C:\work\lasvinfo.csv
Edit the file output in Step 3.
Delete the rows of Log Analyzer Server to be deleted.
Execute the following command to re-register Log Analyzer Server information.
[Example when the file path edited in Step 4. is “C:\work\lasvinfo.csv”]
RegisterLAInfo.exe -r C:\work\lasvinfo.csv
Delete database of Log Analyzer Server
Before uninstalling the Log Analyzer Server of Systemwalker Desktop Keeper, delete the database. The procedures to delete the database are as follows:
Log on Windows as Log Analyzer user (Windows account set when installing Log Analyzer Server).
Select [All Programs] - [Systemwalker Desktop Keeper] - [Log Analyzer] - [Operating Environment Maintenance Wizard] from the [Start] menu.
The “Welcome to Operating Environment Maintenance Wizard” window will be displayed, and please click the [Next] button.
The “Select processing” window will be displayed. Please set “Processing executed” and click the [Next] button.

The “Confirm the settings content” window will be displayed. Please confirm whether the contents displayed in window are incorrect, and click the [Next] button.
The execution confirmation window will be displayed, please click the [OK] button when continuing the execution.
The [Executed Process] window will be displayed and then start to delete the database.
The [Process Completed] window will be displayed when the process is completed normally. Please click the [Completed] button.
Uninstall Log Analyzer Server
The following procedures to uninstall the Log Analyzer Server are as follows:
Log on to Windows with the user used at the construction of database of Management Server/Master Management Server. When other applications are being used, please exit them.
Start [Add or Remove Programs] or [Add or Remove Applications] in [Control Panel].
Select “Systemwalker Desktop Keeper Log Analyzer Server” and click the [Delete] button.
In addition, though uninstalling the Log Analyzer Server, the module of part analysis function and database management system (DBMS) cannot be uninstalled. Please execute the following uninstallation continuously.
Uninstall database management system (DBMS)
Note
Please do not uninstall DBMS in PC in which the Management Server has been installed.
When the Log Analyzer Sever and Management Server are installed in the same PC, please do not uninstall database management system (DBMS) during uninstalling the Log Analyzer Server.
When the database management system has been uninstalled before the Management Server is uninstalled, the Management Server will not be operated.
When uninstalling the database management system (DBMS), please confirm that there is no other operating application. Please do not uninstall when other applications are operating.
The procedures to uninstall the database management system are as follows:
Log on Windows as affiliated user of Administrators group or Domain Admins group. When using the other applications, please exit this application.
Start [Add or Remove Programs] or [Add or Remove Applications] in [Control Panel].
Select “Symfoware Client” and click the [Delete] button.

Messages about Symfoware client uninstallation
The message box “Symfoware .Net Data Provider Installer” of the Symfoware client may be displayed. Please click the [OK] button and continue the execution.
Select “Symfoware Server Enterprise Edition” and click the [Delete] button.
Delete installation folder
After uninstalling the Log Analyzer Server, analysis function module and database management system (DBMS), the installation folder of Log Analyzer Server will be left. Please manually delete the installation folder of Log Analyzer Server.
Note
Please do not delete when uninstalling the database management system.
When other application is using the database management system or the database management system of Systemwalker Desktop Keeper is left under the installation folder of Log Analyzer Server, please do not delete the installation folder of Log Analyzer Server. If it is deleted, the database management system will not be operated.
Note
About log analysis user after uninstallation
Though the Log Analyzer Server is uninstalled, the new Log Analyzer user in installation will not be deleted. Please delete after confirming that the Log Analyzer user is not used.
When reinstalling Log Analyzer Server, please be sure to restart the system after the above procedures are performed, and then reinstall.
