When RHEL5-Xen is used as virtualization software, it is necessary to set the default value of MAC address to allocate to virtual servers.
Follow the procedure below to use RHEL5-Xen.
Use the editor to open the settings file.
The settings file is stored in the following location:
[Windows]
<Installation directory for this product>\RCXCFMG\config\vsys_config.xml
[Linux]
/etc/opt/FJSVcfmg/config/vsys_config.xml
Add the following keys and values:

default-macaddress | One of the names of the MAC address set resources that have been registered with the resource management |
Save the file.
Restart the manager.
Refer to "7.2 Starting and Stopping the Manager" in the Setup Guide CE for information on how to Restart the manager.
Note
When RHEL5-Xen is used as virtualization software, this setting is necessary.
If it is omitted, L-Platform subscription applications will result in an error and L-Platforms cannot be created.
