In the operation of security patches installation at night, the security patches made public by Microsoft company will be acquired and installed to CT at night, therefore there is no impact on the business in the day.
It is necessary to turn on the CT power for installation of the security patches. When the power is turned off, it won’t be possible to install the security patches.
Perform the following corresponding actions.
Do not turn off the power supply after the business is finished.
Use the Wakeup On LAN function(Note) to turn on PC power.
Note) Wakeup On LAN function needs support from the PC itself. Please refer to the PC’s operation instructions for support status of the PC itself.

In the usage mode of security patches installation at night, whether there are security patches needed to be installed to CT will be confirmed as per the interval(original value: 180 minutes) of the confirmation policy.

Installation of the security patches begins directly without display of installation confirmation window. In addition, installation of the security patches requires restart, which will proceed automatically.

Point of Setup
To realize installation of the security patches at night, it is necessary to finish the setup in “Environment Setup” in the Main Menu.
In addition, please refer to “7.2 Setup” for the setup needed for installation of the security patches. It explains herein the key points of set up at the Client.

Note) for the security patches require restart of OS, installation won’t be completed without the restart, therefore, even though there are following security patches to be installed, the next security patch won’t be installed.
