7.5.2 Usage Mode of Security Patches Installation After Logon

CS automatically acquires the security patches made public by Microsoft company, the security patches installation begins after log on CT and message display. Whether the security patches will be installed will be decided by the user’s intention.

Installation of the security patches only processed in time of log on. In addition, the message will be displayed in CT window in case of installation failure of security patches.

Symbol meaning

Windows startup and shutdown.

is to startup Windows, is to shutdown Windows.

Log on and log off Windows.

is to log on Windows, is to log off Windows.

Installation of security patches.

Collect Inventory information after installation of security patches is done.

If installation of the security patches requires restart of Windows, collect Inventory information after restart of Windows.

In the usage mode of security patches installation upon log no, confirm if there are any security patches to be installed to CT as needed at the time point of log on Windows.

Point of Setup

To realize the usage mode of security patches installation upon log on, it is necessary to set up the Client in “Environment Setup” in the Main Menu.

In addition, please refer to “7.2 Setup” for the setup needed for installation of the security patches. This section herein explains the key points, i.e. how to set up at the Client.
