Problem
Linkup and linkdown messages (Category: INFO, Event ID: 1003/Category: WARNING, Event ID: 2002) appear alternately at short intervals in the event log. Alternatively, the results of executing the dsphanet command show "FAIL" and "ON" alternately in the Adapters field.
This problem denotes instability in the GLS virtual adapter communications.

Action
Check the NIC, network cable, and network switch for defects. If necessary, replace any defective items.
