7.3.2 Changing the IP address

The following is the procedure to change the IP address for a Management server.

1. Stop the service

   Open Service Control Manager to stop the following four services.

   • ETERNUS SF Express Manager

   • ETERNUS SF Express Apache Service

   • ETERNUS SF Express Tomcat Service

   • ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Manager

2. Change the IP address of a Management server.

3. Stop the Management server.

4. If the IP address of the Management server is specified for SNMP Trap destination, change the specified IP address using the ETERNUS Web GUI.

   Take the following procedure to change the IP address of the Express Manager server.

   1. Change the specified SNMP Trap destination using the ETERNUS Web GUI.
      The SNMP Trap destination is displayed in the "Trap" screen in "Setup SNMP Agent".

      

   2. Delete the pre-change IP address and specify the post-change IP address and community name.

   3. Click the [Add New Destination] button to add the new destination.

5. Restart the Management server.

6. Restart the Express Web GUI and connect to Management server running on the server whose IP address has been changed.
