4.3.2 About the Transfer Data Format

Notes regarding the transfer of text files in an open-oriented data transfer of the XL-DATA/MV.

• If binary transfer is used for a text file, it is not recognized as a separator for a record. It is transferred in the following format:

• When the server system of the XL-DATA/MV is a UNIX/IA server.

• When the mftfsend command is executed.
• When the mftfrecv command is executed.

• When sending and receiving data as records, the Change Separator Functions may be used to specify the separator codes in the transfer source and the transfer target, as follows:

• When the server system of the XL-DATA/MV is a UNIX/IA server.

• When the mftfsend command is executed (using the Change Separator Function).
• When the mftfrecv command is executed (using the Change Separator Function).
