4.3.1 Exclusiveness

Since the file (source/target) of the UNIX/IA server is not handled exclusively, the following situations should be avoided:

• Simultaneously sending the same file on the UNIX/IA server
• Simultaneously receiving the same file on the UNIX/IA server
• Simultaneously sending/receiving the same file on the UNIX/IA server
• Writing (e.g., from another program) to the UNIX/IA server file during the SEND or RECEIVE execution

If these events occur, data may be destroyed or corrupted.
