2.5.1 List all disks and data transfer volumes
The Tree View of the Disk Utility displays disks (physical drives) that are recognized in the local system.
The disk type displayed on the tree view can be switched as follows:
- Display all disks.
- Display only the data transfer volumes.

If none of the disks (physical drives) recognized in the local system are initialized as data transfer volumes, only the host item is displayed on the data transfer volume list.
