7.5.4 Changing the SNMP community name

Take the following procedure to change the SNMP community name of a disk storage system.

1. Use the ETERNUS Web GUI or FibreCAT SX WBI (web-browser interface) whose SNMP community name is changed to change the SNMP community name.

2. Start the Express Web GUI.

3. Select a management server from [Storage] tab in [Monitoring] pane.

4. Select a disk storage system whose SNMP community name is changed from [Disk Array] menu.

5. Select [Disk Array] - [Change] in [Action] pane.

6. Change the SNMP community name field to what has been specified in the disk storage system side to edit it, and click [Save] button.

7. Click the [Refresh] button to reload the device information, and make sure that change has been properly done.
