The following is the procedure to change the IP address for disk storage system.
Use the ETERNUS Web GUI or FibreCAT SX WBI (web-browser interface) whose IP address is changed to change the IP address.
Start the Express Web GUI.
Select a management server from [Storage] tab in [Monitoring] pane.
Select a disk storage system whose IP address is changed from [Disk Array] menu.
Select [Disk Array] - [Change] in [Action] pane.
Change the IP address field to a new IP address that has been specified for the disk storage system side or re-enter the FQDN that was registered on the DNS server and edit it, and click [Save] button.
Note
Even if the IP address of the disk storage system is registered by the FQDN, Express is managed by the IP address. If the IP address of the disk storage system registered on the DNS server has been changed, enter the FQDN registered again to change the registered information.
Click the [Refresh] button to reload the device information, and make sure that change has been properly done.
