E.3.4 Backup and restoration of license management database

The license information registered in the License Manager is saved in the database, which is called "license management database".

This sub section explains how to backup and restore the license management database.

E.3.4.1 Backup and restoration by using GUI

To backup the license management database
1. On the [File] menu, click the [Backup] button to invoke the [Backup] dialog.
2. In the [Backup] dialog, type or select a backup file name.
3. Click the [Backup] button.
To restore the license management database
1. On the [File] menu, click the [Restore] button to invoke the [Restore] dialog.
2. In the [Restore] dialog, type or select a backup file name.
3. Click the [Restore] button.

E.3.4.2 Backup and restoration by using CLI

To backup the license management database
Execute the following command.
```
> esflm backup Backup-File-Name
```
To restore the license management database
Execute the following command.
```
> esflm restore Backup-File-Name
```
