10.4.5 Uninstall

  1. Place the system in super-user mode.

    # su
  2. If an IBM tape drive device such as ETERNUS LT160 is used, uninstall the IBM tape driver.

    # pkgrm IBMtape
  3. When Step 2 is executed, the setting file of IBM tape drive should be deleted.

    # /usr/bin/rm /usr/kernel/drv/IBMtape.conf
    # /usr/bin/rm /etc/tmd.conf
    # /usr/bin/rm /etc/ibmekm.conf
  4. Execute the tbounsetup command.

    # /opt/swstorage/setup/stg/tbounsetup
  5. Delete the package directory. Check that a common disk is mounted if the cluster is used.

    # /usr/bin/rm -rf /opt/FJSVswstm/* /etc/opt/FJSVswst[mu]/* /var/opt/FJSVswst[mr]/* 
    # /usr/bin/rm -rf /opt/FJSVswstm /etc/opt/FJSVswst[mu] /var/opt/FJSVswst[mr]
  6. Delete a customizing file.

    # /usr/bin/rm -f /usr/bin/dsm.opt /usr/bin/dsm.sys
  7. Delete the start-up file created manually.

    # /usr/bin/rm -f /etc/init.d/initTSM /etc/rc0.d/K00tsmsv /etc/rc2.d/S99tsmsv

    Note

    • If the installation destination directory is changed during installation, delete the each package directory under the installation destination directory in addition to the above procedure.

    • After executing uninstall, check whether the package directory in "Tape manager" of "AdvancedCopy Manager configuration program" remains or not if the package is uninstalled but installed again. If the package directory is left undeleted, remove it as required.
