10.4.4 Daemon Deactivation

Deactivate the Tape Manager daemon.

The procedure is as follows.

1. Deactivate the Tape Server daemon. An example is provided below.

   # /etc/init.d/FJSVswstm stop

2. Deactivate the TSM server daemon. An example is provided below.

   # /etc/init.d/initTSM stop
