9.1.3 Uninstallation

Refer to the OS manual that is applicable to the old version, and uninstall it.

Non-cluster operation

Note

Take care to not use the procedures indicated under "Deletion of all Storage servers".

[For Windows edition]
- For AdvancedCopy Manager 13.1 or later
  Perform uninstallation using the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Manager Uninstallation", "For the Windows edition". Perform only the procedures in "Deleting the Web server settings information" and subsequent procedures.
- For AdvancedCopy Manager 13.0 or earlier
  Perform the uninstall using the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Details of Manager of AdvancedCopy Manager uninstallation". Perform only the procedures in "Deleting the Web server settings information" and subsequent procedures.
[For Solaris and Linux editions]
- For AdvancedCopy Manager 13.1 or later
  Perform the uninstall using the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Manager Uninstallation" "For Solaris edition and Linux edition". Perform only the procedures in "Daemon deactivation" and subsequent procedures.
- For AdvancedCopy Manager 13.0 or earlier
  Perform the uninstall using the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Uninstallation of the storage management server". Perform only the procedures in "Daemon deactivation" and subsequent procedures.

Cluster operation

Note

When performing the following tasks, take care to not use the procedures indicated under "Deletion of all Storage Servers".

[For Windows edition]
1. Perform the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Cluster Operator's Guide" under "Deleting Storage Management server transactions and Storage server transactions" to perform cluster unsetup and to delete the Storage Management Server transactions.
2. Perform the uninstall by performing the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Details of Manager of AdvancedCopy Manager uninstallation". Perform only the procedures in "Deleting applications or programs" and subsequent procedures.
[For Solaris and Linux editions]
1. Perform the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Cluster Operator's Guide" under "Deleting Storage Management Server transactions and Storage Server transactions" to perform cluster unsetup and to delete the Storage Management Server transactions.
2. Perform the uninstall by performing the procedures in the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide" under "Uninstallation of the storage management server". Perform only the procedures in "Daemon deactivation" and subsequent procedures.
