Execute the database backup to save all stored repository data to the specified directory as blocks of data.
Backup the database.
For Windows, use the "DB backup" under DB setup to backup the data.
For Solaris/Linux, use the stgdbbackup command to backup the data.
Check if backup was successful.
Make sure that files with the extension .unl have been created in the specified directory.
For details on how to execute the command, refer to "Database backup" in the appropriate version of the "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operator's Guide". Note that it is not an execution procedure of "Making a package backup of databases".
