This explains how to register the client node in the TSM system.
The procedure is as follows.
Register the TSM administrator ID and password.
tsm> register node client_node_name password passexp=expire_prior archdelete=yes backdelete=yes maxnummp=maxnum_mntpnt |
For the client_node name, specify a tape server node name. For the password, use the value that is set in "". For the expire_prior, specify 0 (infinite). For the archdelete and backdelete, specify "yes". For the maxnum_mntpnt, specify 999 (maximum value). An example is provided below.
