注意
VM環境についての注意事項
Systemwalker Centric Managerの部門管理サーバや業務サーバを、PRIMEQUEST 仮想マシン機能/Linux 仮想マシン機能が導入された管理OSに導入することは可能ですが、業務アプリケーションなどの業務環境は構築しないでください。
管理OSは仮想マシン環境を管理するものであり、管理OS上で通常の業務を動作させた場合、ゲストOSの性能に影響を与える場合があります。
VM運用を行う場合に必要な注意事項
VM運用を行う場合に必要な注意事項について説明します。
IPアドレス、およびホスト名の割り当てについて
すべての管理OSとゲストOSで、IPアドレス、およびホスト名が一意になるよう設定してください。
インベントリ情報の収集・表示・検索について
インベントリ収集では、CPUの“1次キャッシュ・2次キャッシュ”情報は収集できません。CPUクロック数が実際の値よりも小さい値になることがあります。
リモート操作について
リモート操作クライアント機能を動作させるためには、管理OS、およびゲストOSのIPアドレスは一意に設定しておく必要があります。
ゲストOSをリモート操作する場合は、ゲストOSにインストールされているリモート操作クライアントに対して、リモート操作エキスパートまたはモニタから接続する必要があります。
リモート操作されているゲストOSを管理OS上で確認した場合、マウスが移動せず、マウスの操作状況が反映されていないように見えることがあります。
リモートからの電源投入・切断について
ブレードサーバやVM環境で、複数のOSを起動している場合は電源制御機能は使用できません。
サーバ性能監視機能の設定について
ゲストOS上の監視対象資源の動的な配分変更については、資源の配分量に応じた値に変更してポリシーを再設定、配付してください。
ネットワーク性能監視機能の設定について
監視対象ノードがゲストOSの場合、仮想NICに対してネットワーク性能監視を行います。そのため、1つの物理NICに対して複数の仮想NICを割り当てた環境では、複数のゲストOSでトラフィックが発生して物理NICの帯域が圧迫された場合でも、回線使用率のサービスレベル監視の異常を示すイベントが通知されないことがあります。
物理NICの回線使用率を監視する場合は、管理OSを監視対象にしてください。
トラブル対応時の採取資料について
Systemwalker Centric ManagerのVM運用中にトラブルが発生し、保守情報を収集する場合は、物理環境と同様の手順で保守情報を収集することができます。
