This chapter explains the installation of the Manager program of Express.
A flowchart outlining the installation process for the Manager program is shown below:
Install Manager program, using the following procedure:
Login to the system.
Login as the user who has the Administrator's authority on the system where Express will be installed.
Insert the Express CD-ROM into the drive and an initial window will be displayed. Click [Install ETERNUS SF Express Manager].

When any version of ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module 14.0 or earlier is already being installed, the following screen will appear.
When [Yes] button is clicked, installation is continued. In this case, the Advanced Copy functions of Express are not available.
When [No] button is clicked, installation is stopped. When using the Advanced Copy functions of Express, uninstall ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module and then reinstall Express.
At the following window, check the displayed contents, and then click the [Next] button.
Accept the license usage terms and conditions displayed on the [License Agreement] window.
Check the displayed contents, and then click the [Yes] button.
Specify the installation directory.
If this product is to be installed in directories other than those displayed (default directories), click the [Change] button to select the desired directories. After all the proper directories have been selected, click the [Next] button.
Specify the port number to be allocated for the service in the [The registration of the port number] window.
Normally, default port numbers are set in [The registration of the port number] window.
If the other service uses one of the same port numbers, change the relevant port number of either service to be unique.

Please confirm the current service file that the port number described above is vacant.
The services file is located in %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc directory. The %SystemRoot% is the directory where the Windows operating system is installed.

Confirm the settings on the [Start Copying Files] window.
If the information specified is correct, click the [Next] button, or to correct or modify any settings click the [Back] button.
Start the copying.
The file transfer in progress can be viewed on the [Setup Status] window.
Update of the system configuration.
Wait for the update completion of the system configuration.
Finish the Installer.
Click the [Finish] button to end the install process, and reboot the computer.
