7.3.1 Changing port numbers

Express uses the following four port numbers.

Those port numbers are defined in the services file of the system.

Take the following procedure to change the port numbers used by Express.

  1. Open the file "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\services" with a notepad.

  2. Pick out the entry of a service name to be changed to change its entry port number.

    # <service name>  <port number>/<protocol>  [aliases...]   [#<comment>]

    esfexpressccm  9854/tcp
    nfport         23456/tcp
    sscruisera     4917/tcp
  3. Save the file "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\services" to close.

  4. Reboot the server that is running Express Manager.
