This section explains how to select and delete individual copy security groups.
Point
Before deleting copy security groups, make sure there are no virtual enclosures registered with the copy security groups to be deleted.
Also, make sure that the copy security groups to be deleted are not registered with any virtual enclosures.
Open the [Delete Copy Security Group] dialog box using either of the following methods:
Right-click on the copy security group to be deleted in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Delete Copy Security Group].
Select the copy security group to be deleted in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Operation] - [Copy Security Group] - [Delete].
The [Delete Copy Security Group] confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click the [OK] button.
The results of deleting the copy security group are displayed in the [Delete Copy Security Group] message dialog box. Click the [Close] button.
Use the "View and Create" window to check that the copy security group has been deleted.
This completes the procedure for deleting copy security groups.
This section explains how to delete multiple copy security groups.
Open the [Delete of Copy Security Group] dialog box using either of the following methods:
Right-click on the root node for copy security group to be deleted in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Delete Copy Security Group].
Select the root node for copy security group to be deleted in the Composition Data tree area, and then select [Operation] - [Copy Security Group] - [Delete].
The [Delete of Copy Security Group] dialog box is displayed.
Information
Copy security groups where virtual enclosures have been registered are not displayed in the [Copy Security Group information] section of the [Delete of Copy Security Group] dialog box.
Select the copy security groups to be deleted (multiple copy security groups can be selected) and then click the [OK] button.
Clicking the [Select All] button selects all of the copy security groups.
If all of the copy security groups have been selected, then clicking the [Clear] button deselects all of the copy security groups.
The [Delete Copy Security Group] confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click the [OK] button.
The results of deleting the copy security group are displayed in the [Delete Copy Security Group] message dialog box. Click the [Close] button.
Use the "View and Create" window to check that the copy security group has been deleted.
