5.2 データベースパーティションの作成例【Solaris版】

ここで説明する実行例は、以下に示す条件のシステムでパーティションを作成するものです。

パーティションの作成について

実際にパーティションを作成する場合は、システムに合わせて、実行例で示す入力値を変更する必要があります。実行例と同じ入力値でパーティションを作成すると、データが破壊される場合がありますので注意してください。
  1. formatコマンドを実行します。

    formatコマンドを実行するには、スーパーユーザの権限(root権限)が必要です。

    1. formatコマンドを実行します。

      コマンドを実行し、disk一覧を表示します。

      以下に、diskが一つの場合の表示例を示します。

      # format

    2. ディスク番号を指定します。

      disk一覧の番号を指定します。以下の例では、“0”を指定します。

      番号を指定し、FORMAT MENUを表示します。

      Specify disk (enter its number): 0

No defect list found
 [disk formatted, no defect list found]
Warning: Current Disk has mounted partitions.

FORMAT MENU:
        disk       − select a disk
        type       − select (define) a disk type
        partition  − select (define) a partition table
        current    − describe the current disk
        format     − format and analyze the disk
        repair     − repair a defective sector
        show       − translate a disk address
        label      − write label to the disk
        analyze    − surface analysis
        defect     − defect list management
        backup     − search for backup labels
        verify     − read and display labels
        save       − save new disk/partition definitions
        volname    − set 8−character volume name
        !<cmd>     − execute <cmd>, then return
        quit
  2. partitionコマンドを実行します。
    1. partitionコマンドを実行します。

      コマンドを実行し、PARTITION MENUを表示します。

      format> partition

PARTITION MENU:
        0      − change ｀0' partition
        1      − change ｀1' partition
        2      − change ｀2' partition
        3      − change ｀3' partition
        4      − change ｀4' partition
        5      − change ｀5' partition
        6      − change ｀6' partition
        7      − change ｀7' partition
        select − select a predefined table
        modify − modify a predefined partition table
        name   − name the current table
       print  − display the current table
       label  − write partition map and label to the disk
        !<cmd> − execute <cmd>, then return
        quit
    2. パーティションを確認します。

      printコマンドを実行し、現在のパーティションを確認します。

      partition> print
      Current partition table (original):

  3. RDB管理情報専用パーティションを作成します。
    1. パーティションを指定します。

      以下の例では、パーティション3を指定します。

      partition> 3

    2. パーティションIDタグを指定します。

      “usr”を指定します。

      Enter partition id tag[unassigned]: usr
    3. パーティションパーミッションフラグを指定します。

      “wm”を指定します。

      Enter partition permission flags[wm]: wm
    4. 開始シリンダを指定します。

      以下の例では、2.のprintコマンドで確認した未使用シリンダの先頭“5232”を指定します。

      Enter new starting cyl[0]: 5232
    5. パーティションサイズを指定します。

      “300.0mb”を指定します。

      Enter partition size[0b, 0c, 0.00mb, 0.00gb]: 300.00mb
    6. パーティションサイズを指定します。

      printコマンドを入力し、現在のパーティションを確認します。

      partition> print

  4. RDBディクショナリ用パーティションを作成します。
    1. パーティションを指定します。

      “100.00mb”を指定します。

    6. パーティションを確認します。

      printコマンドを入力し、現在のパーティションを確認します。

  5. データベーススペース用パーティションを作成します。
    1. パーティションを指定します。

      以下の例では、パーティション5を指定します。

    2. パーティションIDタグを指定します。

      “usr”を指定します。

    4. 開始シリンダを指定します。

      以下の例では、4.のprintコマンドで確認した未使用シリンダの先頭“6057”を指定します。

    5. パーティションサイズを指定します。

      “134.00mb”を指定します。

      Enter partition size[0b, 0c, 0.00mb, 0.00gb]: 134.00mb
    6. パーティションサイズを指定します。

      printコマンドを入力し、現在のパーティションを確認します。

      partition> print

  6. labelコマンドを実行します。

    ジオメトリにパーティション情報を記録するために、labelコマンドを実行します。

    “Ready to label disk,continue?”に対して、“y”を指定します。

    partition> label
    Ready to label disk, continue? y
  7. パーティションの作成を終了します。
    1. partitionを終了します。

      quitコマンドを実行し、FORMAT MENUを表示します。

      partition> quit
