Appendix B Messages |
This section describes service messages and explains what to do in response to the messages.
Service messages are output to the Windows event log.
The event log can be viewed in Windows Event Viewer.
To open Event Viewer, select [start]-[Control Panel]-[Administrative Tools]-[Event Viewer].
Italic texts in the messages denote variables and vary depending on the situations where the messages are output. The following table shows variables and the descriptions.

Service messages are categorized into the following four types listed from higher to lower severity.

This type of message is output when an event that causes the service to pause was detected. |

ERROR |
This type of message is output when an event that causes part of the service to pause was detected. |
44XXX |
WARNING |
This type of message is output to give warning when an error that does not cause the service to pause was detected. |
46XXX |
INFO |
This type of message is output to track service activities. |
