3.6 Starting/Stopping the Service

The PSDM service (F6GASRV) automatically starts when the system is booted and stops when the system is stopped in normal situations.

However, if the system stops running due to some event or stopping the service fails, it is necessary to take action according to the event log message and then start or stop the service manually.

To start or stop the service, you must be a user with administrator privileges (a user of the Administrators group).

1. Opening [Services]

   Select [start]-[Control Panel]-[Administrative Tools]-[Services] to open Services.

   
   

2. Starting or stopping the F6GASRV service

   In the details window, select F6GASRV and then [Action]-[Start] or [Action]-[Stop].

   
   

If the system is rebooted by the action taken according to the message, the service is automatically started at system startup and it is not required to start it manually.
