Chapter 3 Systemwalker Desktop Patrol Functions> 3.4 Contents Management Function

3.4.1 Management of Contents to Be Distributed

To manage contents to be distributed, you can do the following:

You can manage contents to be distributed on the "Systemwalker Desktop Patrol MC"

mark1Contents

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol allows registration of files and software as contents.

Items such as name, version, valid period, and size can be set for contents.

The PC can view and download contents under control for the period specified in the "Valid Period" of the contents. (It is used for news contents or the like that are meaningful only for a certain period of time.)

When you download contents to a server or client, an executable file (file to be executed after download) can be specified for automatic application (installation). For contents that require administrator privileges to execute, administrator privileges can be set.

mark1Contents Group

Groups can be created to classify contents. Destination servers can be set in the group.

The "Destination servers" set for contents group specifies a server to which the contents of the group will be distributed. The server specified as a destination will download the contents from an upstream server. "Systemwalker Desktop Patrol CT" can download the contents from the upstream server.
