A.1.3 Character Type Identification

How can I execute the search without considering on the character types (upper case and lower case)?

The character types (upper case and lower case) can be considered as the same type by using the following parameters which are existed in the system environment file and director environment file.

• ANKmix: Upper and lower case for alphanumeric character
• KNJmix: Upper and lower case for multi-byte alphabetic characters

These parameters can be specified by the Shunsaku system or by each director server.
Refer to the Operator's Guide for more information.

If the character type identification is set only at the application, it is necessary to use multiple search conditions, such as combining the search condition with [OR].
